In my branding and identity class, we were tasked with taking a font family and creating a fully branded airline from it. I chose the font family of Condor. And from there Indie Airlines was born, a small scale national airline with a cool blue color pallet. Scroll to look through the branding design work that went into this business of mine, from outfits, to plane pretzels.
Inspired by my grandmother, who taught me everything I know about soup and my own habit of eating soup in a bag when I ran out of bowls. spring’s real southern soups was born. Named after my grandmothers hometown of Union Springs, I pulled traditional southern recipes together to create 3 unique soups with ethically sourced ingredients. This brand and its packaging won a Gold Tuscaloosa Addy in 2019. Thanks Motmot ;)
Tasked with creating a brand around a greek god or goddess, I chose the goddess Pasithea. Pasithea was the goddess of relaxation, meditation, and altered states of conciousness. I felt that this fit perfectly well with a THC infused tea product. Kalam comes from the short form of the greek city of Kalamata. I wanted to create a THC related brand that was more relaxed and muted in color compared to a lot of the current THC brands, which are filled with bright colors and psychedelic messaging. I went for a witty copy approach with help from copywriter Lukas Brown.
